WHAT IS CELEBRATE RECOVERY?

Celebrate Recovery (also know as CR) is a radically different ministry designed to allow individuals to find sustained healing from life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups through an intentional relationship with Jesus Christ.

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the 8 recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and the Christ-centered 12 steps. 

By working and applying these biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive behaviors, and most importantly, develop a stronger relationship with God and others.

Do you have hurts, hang-ups and habits that you struggle with?

What Do you mean by "hurts, habits, and hang-ups"? A hurt, habit or hang-up is, very simply, anything that hinders your walk with God.

Hurts: The feeling of being hurt is an emotional reaction to another person's behavior or to a disturbing situation (abuse, abandonment, co-dependency, divorce or relationship issues).

Habits: A habit is an addiction to someone, or something (alcoholism, drugs, food, gambling, pornography, video games, sex, shopping, or smoking).

Hang-ups: Hang-ups are negative mental attitudes that are used to cope with people or an adversity (anger, depression, fear or unforgiveness).

We all have issues that may be interfering with our relationship with God and others. Therefore, this program applies to anyone and everyone! He came to set the captives Free! Come join us.

WHAT TO EXPECT

CR is a welcoming environment and community of people.  Everyone here is on the same road..the road to healing and joy with Jesus. Though our issues may differ in some ways, we are all seeking truth.  This is a safe environment where you can take your mask off and be who you are.

A safe place to share...A refuge...A place of belonging...A place to care for others and to be cared for...Where respect is given to each member...Where confidentiality is highly regarded...A place to learn...A place to demonstrate genuine love...A place to grow and become strong again...A place for progress...A place where you can take off your mask and allow others to know who you are...A place for healthy challenges and healthy risks...A possible turning point in your life.

A place for selfish control...therapy...A place for secrets...A place to look for dating relationships...A place to rescue or be rescued by others...A place for perfection...A long-term commitment...a place to judge others...A quick fix.
